Biographical Sketches

David and Linda have been married since 1970.  They have two children and five grandchildren, all residing in South Carolina.

David is a veteran of the Vietnam War.  He served with the 101st Airborne Division as a Staff Sergeant in an infantry unit in 1968 and 1969, until he was wounded in action and sent home.

David was born in 1947 and born again in 1978.  He received his education through Luther Rice Seminary and Bible College.  He was involved with Promise Keepers for five years while living in South Carolina, attending many of their meetings and trainings, and was a member of their Task Force in Florence, SC.  He was the Area Director for the Jesus Video Project in Florence in 1997, during which he helped facilitate the distribution of 16,000 videos, which were used by the Lord to lead thousands from the Florence area to place their faith in Jesus Christ.  In 1996, when the Effingham Baptist Church in Effingham, SC was burned down by an arsonist, David helped head up the rebuilding project, which received national recognition and much media attention.  He also did a weekly Bible study at a local prison for three and a half years in Florence, SC.

David is the author of the book, “Knowing Him”, which was written as a study guide and devotional to help believers get to know God better through a study of His many names and attributes.  This book is published by Pathway Press out of Cleveland, TN, and is available through any Bible bookstore or through this ministry (ISBN #0-87148-484-6).  David has also recorded hundreds of inspirational 5-minute radio spots based on the book, “Knowing Him”, which have been played on local radio.  Copies of these messages may be purchased on cassette or CD.

David’s main focus in the ministry at Lamb’s Chapel is in helping to lead worship, the teaching of the Word, developing a Men’s Ministry and heading up the radio ministry.

Linda was born in 1951 and born again in 1977.  She attended Bible college 1987 thru 1990 and has lead many effective Bible studies throughout the years.  She is currently writing a book and ministering the truths concerning the demolishing of strongholds in the life of the believer.  Copies of her “Demolishing Strongholds” teachings, both written and recorded, may be purchased through this ministry.

Linda’s primary focus in this ministry is leading worship and intercessory prayer and teaching the Word.  She moves in the prophetic with power and anointing which the Lord has used powerfully to set the captives free.  The Lord is drawing her to prophetic worship, which is a new concept to us, but very dynamic in its effectiveness to prepare our hearts and spirits to receive from God while worshiping Him and spending time in His presence.

The ministry at Lamb’s Chapel is very different from what is experienced in most mainline churches, mainly due to the diverse, but complimentary giftings of its pastors.
